Bolton Pride will stage its fourth festival later this month – and it will be even more inclusive, more progressive and, hopefully, more effective than ever.
The towns third LGBT festival will take place on the 21st September to 23rd September 2018, with the main event is on Saturday the 22nd September. The festival promises to be bigger and better than last year with many new programme additions planned too.
The hashtag for this year’s Bolton Pride is #reflect celebrate educate and the three days of the festival will mirror this.
On the opening Friday evening, there will be a time of reflection for the history of the LGBT community, Bolton Pride and how hate crime affects people.
Saturday will be a day of celebration — including the parade, live acts and party night — and Sunday is a family day.
Among those speaking on the main stage will be members of the LGBT+ community.
What time does the parade start? 12pm (midday)
Is the parade free? Yes, although parade participants and businesses must register beforehand.
